New Visorphone & Blazer pricing

Tuesday May 15, 2001 - 1:42 AM EST - By James Hromadka

Handspring is getting pretty agressive in its pricing. Recently, the company lowered the price of its Visor and Visor Deluxe handhelds, and now the VisorPhone is seeing a price drop.

You can now purchase the VisorPhone for $249, down $50 from its original price. The VisorPhone now includes the Blazer web browser, giving the module Internet access out-of-the-box.

Customers who own the VisorPhone module can obtain the browser for free by going here.

Speaking of Blazer, version 1.1 is out of beta and is now available for $19.95 for non-Visorphone owners. Now if only Handspring would update the Backup module to be in 16-bit color. ;)

Thanks to akur for the news.
