OmniSky vs. YadaYada

Friday February 2, 2001 - 8:27 PM EST - By Scott Hanselman

Conclusion

Generally I found both services reasonably fast when outside. OmniSky's content launcher uses a slick tree interface that I prefer over YadaYada. YadaYada's launcher is in color, which is a nice touch, but both services use a black and white email app. YadaYada's install is smoother, but that only happens once. For now, until the services mature, I give the nod to OmniSky for their PalmVII support, although you need a Visor Platinum or Prism. Otherwise, Deluxe users should go with YadaYada.
