Tap Tone to bring up the Bass and Treble controls and a parametric equalizer that lets you select the corner frequency where the boost takes place.  When operating the bass control, the user can select 1 of 3 different frequencies for the bass boost, 50, 100, or 200 Hz.  The 50 Hz setting will cause the bass boost to only effect the lowest
frequencies, which is useful in a car with a big subwoofer.  The 200 Hz boost range is useful for portable headphones.  The treble control functions in a similar manner.  This feature is
the same as high-end preamps that provide a parametric equalizer (as opposed to the graphic equalizer) for tone control.

To play a song, when you're in AudioPlayer press the Play button to begin playing the first song.  The first thing you will want to try is the hidden "waveform" plugin.  While playing a song, tap on the "S" in "SoundsGood" at the bottom of the screen to change the bottom bar to a moving waveform; tap anywhere on the waveform to turn it off.  You can see a screenshot of the waveform in action during "Enter Sandman."  Yes, Lars, I own the CD.:-)

Top of SoundsGoodUse any of the screen icons or SoundsGood hardware buttons to change songs and volume.  All of the options I have mentioned are available on the main AudioPlayer screen.  Use the up/down slider to adjust the Volume (you can use the wheel on the module or the Visor's Up/Down buttons as well).  The horizontal slider can be used to skip to a particular point of a song.

Music sounds great with the SoundsGood.  I listened to the included songs and a few of my own, and songs like "Bohemian Rhapsody" had no distortion during its a cappella portions.  The SoundsGood didn't sound any better/worse to me when compared to the MiniJam.  I didn't like the earbud headphones that came with the SoundsGood, though.  They seemed too big and hurt my ears when I used them.  A "fuzzy" cover would help these headphones.  This is a personal preference, so you may like the headphones more.
