User Opinions: RhinoPak 2000

Ripper1It is too big

Thumbs Down

For those of you who have heard of Apples Newton, it is like the size of the case that shipped with the Newton too big to fit in your pocket!

OverZealousMisleading Product

Thumbs Down

The RhinoPak 2000 was definitely not intended for the Handspring Visor. I am extremely unsatisfied with the product for the following reasons: Visor has no practical way of staying inside. See the review, but the strap design eliminates the ability to use most Springboards No good way to carry it. Unless you really wanted a purse, or plan on having this bulky pack on your belt all day, it's impossible to carry. Lots of pockets, but none useful. The inner pockets face the screen, which is risky, and the outer pockets consist of one that's exposed, one that's too tiny, and one that's on the back (for whatever reason). Worthless Stylus holder The stylus holder is about the width of two pencils, making any normal stylus fall out. Battery Pockets too large The battery pockets are designed so that the batteries tend to fall out when I am using it. That's my problem with the item. I also think it's a little on the big side, seeing as the Visor has about 1/2" to spare on all sides, which makes it bulkier than necessary. My opinion, wait until something made for the Visor comes out.

Thumbs Down

While the Rhino Pak looks great for carrying around your Visor and other items, I hope there is another way to secure a Visor to the pak without having to place the straps between the visor and the hard cover. The hard cover won't be able to fit on the back side of the Visor with certain Springboard modules. Some modules are too bulky for the hard cover to fit on the back side. Thus, if the RhinoPak assumes that the hard cover is going to be needed, then it's flawed. For most purposes, most people want to chuck the cover anyway. Conclusion: Think about your specific needs and how you're going to use your Visor before buying this product. Otherwise, it'll just gather dust. Just because everyone is raving about it, doesn't mean that it'll fit your exact needs.

ScobbyGreat Product with lots of possibilities

Thumbs Up

The RhinoPak 2000 is a great case for anyone who travels. Being a frequent traveler this case allows me to hold my passport, tickets, credit cards, extra batteries, stylus, and not to mention my Visor in one case. While it is to big to attach to your belt, you do get the benefit of being able to keep everything with you. Along with the size comes extra padding which is needed when you are moving around on the go. The RhinoPak 2000 has allowed me to get rid of my day planner since I can fit all of my cards and checkbook into it. All in all this is a great product for anyone who travels or wants to replace their day planner.
