What about synching under Linux?
Synching can be done under Linux, albeit at less than normal speeds.
KPilot and Pilot -xfer apparently work well with the Visor serial cradle. For the Visor to USB hotsync with Linux, a special kernel module most be loaded, and the linux version of palm desktop must be downloaded. For more info on this, see the home of Visor hotsyncing with Linux, and the official Visor with Linux mini-HOWTO.
