Opinions: Matthew Price's Screen Protector
recordond | Hard to Put on and Poor Quality |
| I wrecked three just trying to put them on and many of mine have black lines down the sides from his pattern making them useless. |
wilder_jw | Too difficult to apply ... |
| I got lucky with my first application -- it went on with a minimum of fuss and with only a couple of very small bubbles. But I just tried my second application, and it was a nightmare -- I had to cut it to fit, dust particles you can't even see adhere to the static side, and God forbid the static side touch anything in the slightest before contacting your screen. It took four tries (all after I cut them to fit), and there are still dust particles and air bubbles. On the plus side, visibility on a Prism is far better than WriteRights, and I love the way these feel under my stylus. But they're just too frustrating to make them worthwhile. |
Anonymous | ???? |
| I spent .75 at the local fabric store for a yard of clear plastic and have been using it for the last year and I think I have several years left. Why would I want to spend $11 for a years supply? No thank you. I can use a pair of scissors just fine. |
Anonymous | No Thanks |
| I distrust companies that:
1) Can't afford their own domain name and
2) have anything to do with Warman.
I'm surprised VC even bothered reviewing this product. |
Ted Michaels | Poorly designed, waste of money... |
| Took far too long to apply, and I ruined 3 before I finally for it right. Stick to the real thing, don't waste time or money on this junk. |
Giving Money to Warman :( | Do not buy these Screen Protectors! |
| Why waste $11 when you can buy the same item for pennies?!

Jimmy G | Sorry, but I bought them once, never again.. |
| Awhile ago, I wanted to try out other screen protector formats, because I thought Writerights (or whatever) were too highly priced... This is what I noticed..
1. Warman's products are the biggest ripoffs of all.. Does he buy his materials at Wal-Mart's?
2. Matthew Price - Sorry.. You're a nice guy, and I kind of feel sorry for saying this, but your product was very hard to put on and off, and I threw your stuff away.. Keep my money...
3. The only thing I can recommend is "Writerights"... Yeah, they are hard to read, but they go on nicely, they last a good month and a half or longer, and the material is original... Also, their method of application is much more sensible.. In the long run they are the cheapest... |
Anonymous | Inferior product, ethically dubious.. |
| They seem inferior in every way to cutting your own out of vinyl,
and you have to cut them to fit in any case.
Plus every pack you buy supports and encourages Bill Warman in his
barratry. If you have to cut your own anyway, save your money and
get a lifetime's supply for less than a dollar from your local
fabric store. |
Anonymous | Warmans crap |
| Ive never tried them, I just dont like Warman! |
Anonymous | Patents? |
| I don't know anything about this patent stuff, but I did try Matt's product and did not like it at all. |
