OmniSky
Conclusion Overall I've found the service very reliable and easy to use. One billing complaint I had was that I started my OmniSky service on the 11th of a month, and didn't receive my modem until the 25th of the month. I was billed $39.95 for the whole month even though I used 5 days of service, because as I was told by a customer service rep, "OmniSky doesn't pro-rate service." I really like the interface of the main OmniSky software. Although I used other apps to browse the net like AvantGo and BlueLark's Blazer, I typically use Web Clipping apps from the main OmniSky interface for quick things like Traffic and Weather. For the future, I'd appreciate a more robust email application, and color support in the OmniSky optimized content. Otherwise, if you need the real Internet in your hand, the OmniSky Service is a superior solution.
