FullCharge
Conclusion The convenience of rechargeable batteries that don't have to be swapped, not to mention the cost savings offered over standard alkalines, makes the FullCharge a welcome Visor accessory. What I don't like about the FullCharge is the inability to recharge in the cradle (like the Prism) as well as the fact that you have to manually attach and detach the charger. On the other hand, this has the advantage of allowing the Visor to be used with the FullCharge adaptor as a power supply to conserve battery life when using Springboard modules or a keyboard, a fair trade-off. The initial draft of this review was written and edited with a Stowaway attached to my FullCharge-powered Visor Deluxe and the battery meter never dropped! When it comes to the cost of the FullCharge, $34.95 for either the Standard or Mobile Kit is reasonable. As a comparison, my MAHA MH-C204F charger and 4 MAHA AAA's cost approximately $45.00 and I still have to swap them when they run low. Compared to alkaline batteries, with an approximate price of $4.00 per 4-pack for good quality ones, and an average of three weeks usage per pair, yearly battery costs are in the area of $35.00 per year - the same as the FullCharge which will last much longer. The Power User Kit, at $54.95, is a bit pricey but gives you the additional ability to recharge both at your desk and on the go.
