Houston we have rain Saturday June 9, 2001 - 6:44 PM EST - By James Hromadka If you happened to be following the weather these past few days, you may have noticed a huge amount of rain falling on the Houston area. Yes, Tropical Storm Allison doesn't seem to want to leave and has kept Houston at a stand-still since last night. My wife and I live on the 2nd floor, so all of our belongings are ok, but our cars took some water damage last night. Hopefully we can get the carpets clean. Anyway, since I'm stuck inside for the next few days, I thought I'd post something. I hope all of our Houston readers are able to keep their families and belongings dry. Discuss the carnage here. |
