Hoover's Online has a few stories on some of the new springboards being shown at Internet World 99.Blue-Connect Springboard by Widcomm, Inc. that gives the Visor two-way wireless communications capabilites.

Then there is the Quo Vadis HandyGPS Springboard by Navicom and MarcoSoft that incorporates a GPS receiver with street-level mapping.

Concept Kitchen has announced a series of Lonely Planet CitySync Travel Guides on Springboards.

Datastick Systems previews the MyCorder Data Acquisition Instrumentation Technology which enables the Visor handheld to act as a multi-channel data acquisition instrument.

MesaView announces they will make Springboard modules that contain classic literature from numerous authors, including Shakespeare, Jack London, Plato, H.G. Wells and many others.
