Pocket Ir Printer Monday February 12, 2001 - 3:54 AM EST - By James Hromadka  SiPix has announced the Pocket Printer A6, a portable monochrome printer that Handspring Visor owners can print to using the Ir port. The A6 weighs 14 ounces (including its 4 AA batteries) and prints to either single sheet or continuous paper.
Included is IrPrint from I/S Complete for printing from Palm OS applications. You can also print from any Windows-based laptop. The Pocket Printer uses 4-1/8"x5-3/4" thermal paper and prints at a speed of 2 pages per minute. The PPA6 will be available later this month for $149. Packages of the printer paper A6 are available in 100 sheets or six rolls for $9.99 a package. Click here for all the details on the Pocket Printer A6. It will be interesting to see how useful it is to print from the Visor. I hate printing things out, but it is a necessary evil still in today's business world.
