MemPlug available Monday March 5, 2001 - 4:57 PM EST - By James Hromadka  Portable Innovation Technology is now taking orders for its MemPlug SmartMedia external memory module.
Besides the obligatory directory and formatting software, the MemPlug also includes Backup, JPG Viewer, and gMovie player (you can convert QT & AVI files), making this a very appealing module. Using a 64MB card gets you an hour of movie playback time. Scott will have a review of the Memplug soon, along with a faceoff between it and the CompactFlash adapters. Also, although the Memplug shows it's available, PalmGear and several other e-tailers didn't have it listed yet. |
