A different type of Prism charger Thursday April 5, 2001 - 12:55 AM EST - By James Hromadka  Electric Fuel Corporation has announced a line of Instant Power™ Chargers for handheld computers, including a model for the Visor Prism.
 Unlike other chargers, the Instant Power Charger uses disposable PowerCartridges that provides hours of use. PowerCartridges use zero-mercury zinc-air cells and are environmentally friendly.
The Instant Power Charger is $19.95, with replacement PowerCartridges costing $9.95 each. It will be interesting to see how the Instant Power Charger fares against other battery chargers that are available for the Visor Prism. |
