Yada es nada Thursday April 12, 2001 - 8:08 PM EST - By James Hromadka, Alan Graham VisorCentral has learned that YadaYada, a licensee of the Minstrel S Springboard module, has ceased operations in order to undergo a restructure of the company. YadaYada CEO Raj Gupta said that the company is "currently in restructuring mode and will announce a new YadaYada shortly. We are in the process of finding a way of creating a new platform that will continue to use the YadaYada technology for business and enterprise customers." Gupta indicated that the declining financial markets were to blame for the company's setbacks but is confident that the company will come through the troubled times. What this means for current YadaYada module owners remains to be seen. With the stock market dipping as of late, we may see a few other companies run into trouble. Discuss the news here. More info as we get it... |
