EU maps using TomTom software Saturday April 14, 2001 - 10:47 PM EST - By James Hromadka Palmtop Software has released TomTom Citymaps for several major European cities. TomTom Citymaps displays maps of a city as well as the fastest route between two points. The product also supports GPS. Available maps include Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Frankfurt am Main, London, Madrid, Munich, Paris, Rome and Vienna, soon to be followed by Antwerp, Birmingham, Cologne, Copenhagen, Geneva, Hamburg, Luxemburg, Lyon, Marseille, Milan, Rotterdam, Stockholm, Strasbourg and Zurich. A CD-ROM with 30,000 European cities will be available at European retailers. TomTom Citymaps is now available for $14.99. |
