VisorCentral Awards 2000
Carrying Case of the Year With the Visor came a different location for the Ir Port and the challenge of finding a case that can also hold a Springboard module. We haven't seen many cases that can take oversized modules, but we have seen some great strides in beltclip cases. With handhelds becoming the "brain" of many users, it is important to be able to always have the Visor at one's side while protecting it at the same time. The winner of the Carrying Case of the Year does not necessarily need to be a beltclip case, but it must allow the user to get at the Visor quickly. Winner: Rhodiana Visor case A relative newcomer to the carrying case market, Rhodiana has made an extremely usable beltclip case for the Handspring Visor. This case has a lid that folds out of the way and has a cutout for the Ir port of the Visor. With a simple to use beltclip and a reasonable price, the Rhodiana Visor case is a favorite of many of the readers of VisorCentral. This was one of the first Visor-specific cases released, and it is still the best. James: This was my primary case for a very long time. Easy to use and has decent protection for the Visor. You can't go wrong with this case. Honorable Mention: E&B Slipper Visor Another great case is the E&B Slipper Visor, which is available
without a beltclip for those that dont want to attach their Visor to their
belt. This case is slim enough to be let you carry the Visor in your
pocket and has space handy for some of your business cards. |
